Our Impact
4Elite Training Academy, Inc empowers youth through sports, mentorship, and education—building leaders on and off the field. Our primary focus is elementary school aged students but provide services to students in middle and high school. Through our programs, we will help them with their physical fitness, mental health, nutrition, career goals, setting life goals, developing character, and identifying resources. We use sports and physical activity to engage with the student, as well as round table conversations so they can be heard. Why sports? Sports teach you discipline, hard-work, team-work, and leadership skills.
The Problem
Social Emotional Development
Mental health has become a major issue in minors. From everyday peer pressure to the battle of opioids, the youth have many stress factors. Self-doubt plays a major role in the mindset of the youth today. Social media and the internet have added extra pressure on many of the youth.
Environment & Ecomnomic Status
Destructive habits along with failures in the classroom and none conducive neighborhood environments have molded many at-risk youths to believe there are no possibilities of success that await them. Growing numbers of youth falling through the cracks at school along with being entangled in the juvenile court system, and gang violence occurs too often.
Extracurricular Activity Access
Childhood obesity in areas with low household incomes has a higher prevalence. People with low incomes often work longer hours and finding time to prepare healthy food is often difficult.
Opportunity
At 4Elite Training Academy, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed—but we also recognize that not all opportunities are created equal. Despite living in a nation built on the promise of opportunity, systemic inequities in education and access to resources continue to hold back Black and Brown communities across the country. In too many cases, support is directed toward schools in affluent neighborhoods, while students in underserved areas are left to navigate their paths alone.
We are here to change that.
4Elite Training Academy is committed to giving youth in Los Angeles County the tools, mentorship, and support they need to reach their full potential. Through our holistic programs—Physical Education & Social Emotional Learning, Leadership Elite Mentoring, Elite Sports Science, and Reading with Sports—we aim to promote health and wellness, inspire leadership, enhance academic achievement, and create a more equitable playing field for all.
