Leadership Elite Mentoring Program
The Leadership Elite Mentoring Program is designed to empower youth in grades 6–12 across Los Angeles County through intentional, relationship-based mentoring and leadership development. This program serves both at-promise youth who need additional support and high-achieving students who demonstrate strong leadership potential. By partnering with local school districts, community-based organizations, churches, and the juvenile justice system, Leadership Elite creates a robust network of care, accountability, and growth.
Each student in the program is paired with a dedicated adult mentor who guides them through structured activities, goal-setting exercises, and personal development sessions. The program promotes self-awareness, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership through five specialized mentoring tracks:
Pioneers – The core mentoring track focused on students facing academic, behavioral, or environmental challenges. Pioneers provides consistent, structured mentorship to help youth navigate adversity and build a strong foundation for future success.
Impact – Designed for students with a history of school suspensions or chronic behavioral referrals. Impact supports middle and high school students with tools for emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and positive decision-making.
Brighter Future – This track serves youth involved in the juvenile justice system, providing mentorship and support to reduce recidivism and encourage educational and personal transformation.
Elite Achievers – A leadership and academic excellence track for students who consistently demonstrate high achievement and character. Elite Achievers receive advanced mentoring focused on leadership, college and career readiness, and civic engagement.
Guardians – A community-building track that facilitates positive relationships between law enforcement officers and at-promise youth. Guardians fosters trust, mutual understanding, and shared community responsibility through mentorship and dialogue.
Through these diverse mentoring pathways, Leadership Elite equips youth to overcome obstacles, lead with integrity, and become change agents in their schools and communities.
